Really well written article but I have to disagree. I find Zomato’s UI to be too clunky, overloaded with information, no breathing room, too many options and functionalities to pay undivided attention to. It has completely failed in terms of cognitive overload for me. Look at its counterpart Swiggy, how they’ve nailed the design and first principles, so much so that, I don’t use Zomato at all. While Swiggy is not a complete replacement of Zomato but I don’t care. I just don’t want to be using Zomato to order food.
